Flirting with the laws of attraction. As single (and choosy) girls Stephanie and Nancy have decided to put their beliefs in the Law of Attraction to the test to attract the men of their dreams.... We will be wearing engagement rings for 40 days to send signals to the universe that we have found what we are looking for. By doing this we are hoping that in response to those signals we are sending out we will actually receive what we are looking for.
We will be following some rules through this experiment.
1. The ring must be worn during every public outting
2. If a possible "love interest" questions the ring and asks if we are engaged we must answer "Yes, to myself."
3. No dating (or similar extra curricular activities) during the 40 day period.
4. We must go "out" and socialize at least once per weekend

Insufficient Evidence
Our 40 days have drawn to a close and I feel like I haven’t drawn any complete conclusions on how this experiment turned out. I felt naked without my ring so I replaced it by wearing my diamond and sapphire band ring on my middle finger. Nothing significant has happened in the relationship department but that’s not to say that something will not formulate soon. I had a slamming sales month and I wonder if it had to do with people’s perceptions of me…I’ve always been told I look very young so if they think I’m married are they more likely to buy from me? Only time will tell, and I feel like these next few weeks I will be able to spot any differances, now that I’m no longer wearing the ring.
On a side note, I had a great time out on Saturday but paid for it the next day at work. Maybe the next experiment should be 40 days of sobriety? lol But I met a few guys while I was out, none which resulted in anything though.

Last Dance
Tonight’s the last night out as a taken women. I am leaving shortly to join a group of friends, for dancing in downtown DC. Will report back with my findings! ;)
